shipping policy:
based on your location, we will choose the optimal carrier to keep shipping costs as low as possible and delivery as fast as possible. though, most orders will ship via our preferred carrier, UPS.
for domestic orders [U.S. delivery addresses], we typically offer standard ground service via UPS. please contact us to request expedited shipping service or service through a particular carrier.
shipping service transit times will be shown at checkout. though, most orders will adhere to standard 3-5 day transit.
these are estimates and are not guaranteed. orders may come sooner or later than this given timeframe, depending on variable circumstances. please refer to provided tracking information and consult the carriers if further detail is needed.

for international orders, delivery time estimates vary by location and unfortunately are not customizable at this time.
once your order is packaged and labeled, we will update your order with the tracking information via email. if you for some reason do not receive a shipment notification with your tracking number, please email us via the studio's contact page submission form with your order number.
carriers assume responsibility for all orders once confirmed as en route, at which point, we are unable to provide any insight or modifications to the delivery. for further information, please contact your carrier. we recommend registering an online account with the carrier, which sometimes allows delivery modification. if your order is lost in transit, we recommend filing a claim with the carrier. we are unable to provide refunds for items lost while under the responsibility of a third party.
back orders:
if an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock.
when the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order.
no additional shipping and handling will be charged any for the second shipment.
pre-orders:
at times, we will make some items available for pre-order. purchasing a pre-order item reserves in your name a product from a future production batch that will be shipped at a later date, upon completion. you will be charged at the time of purchase. any quoted pre-order delivery times are based on production estimates and are subject to change, thus not guaranteed. you may cancel your pre-order at any time, provided that the shipping process is not already underway. to cancel a pre-order, email the studio with your order number via our contact page submission form.
international orders:
we will happily ship internationally, but please check with your local customs laws on whether or not you can have the kind of things we sell shipped to your country. items held in customs can increase transit times, so international delivery time estimates are not guaranteed.
orders returned to us by customs will be refunded minus the postage and a 15% restocking fee.
additionally, some countries may place an additional duty on your shipment. you, the recipient, will be required to pay this duty to release the package. we are not responsible for this fee, nor can we predict it.
accepting deliveries:
ceramics are fragile and can break in transit. our packaging is designed and labeled to prevent risk of damage as much as possible, but accidents still happen. please inspect your package for damages before accepting delivery. if there are damages that look like they occurred in transit, we recommend rejecting the delivery. if you are unable to reject the delivery, please contact the carrier and email the studio as soon as possible via our contact page submission form.
returns, refunds
+ exchanges policy:
Anthropo ceramics and homewares may be returned within 3 days of the item's confirmed delivery. due to sanitation and legal reasons, the items must be absolutely unused. we undergo a thorough inspection of all returned pieces before granting any refund or exchange. returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee, must arrive in original packaging and manufacturing condition, and any shipping fees incurred by the studio will be deducted from the final refund. if you paid with a third party payment plan provider, there will be an additional fee deducted from the final refund.
if you believe that your items contain production defects, please contact the studio with a description and detailed photographs of the issue within 3 days of delivery.
how to exchange an item:
if your item is in unused and in original manufacturing condition with the original packaging, you may exchange it for a different item. exchange orders, in this case, will not be subject to a restocking fee. customers will be responsible for all associated shipping costs [return and new send-out].
we do not refund the original shipping and handling that was paid on the order. if you have paid with a third party payment plan provider, there will be an additional fee on any refund given.
items must be returned postmarked within 3 days of delivery in original packaging.
i. please contact the studio with your order number via our contact page submission form to request a return.
ii. include the word "exchange" and your order number in the subject line.
iii. please provide us with a brief description of why you would like to exchange the item, and detailed photographs showing that the item is in new and unused condition.

if your exchange is accepted we will provide you with a return address. after your item is received and inspected, we will grant you an exchange or refund minus the above listed costs.
payment policy:
all major credit cards are processed through our third party payment processors.
charges & chargebacks:
your payment will be processed when you place your order. if we are not able to fulfill your order for any reason, we will contact you and your account will be refunded.
privacy policy:
